AB100 is a compostable random copolymer produced by polycondensation — a copolyester of 1,4-butanediol, adipic acid, and terephthalic acid. Under standard composting conditions it biodegrades into small fragments and ultimately into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass, making it a drop-in base resin for blown and cast compostable film.

What AB100 brings to a compostable film or bag formulation.
Certified to EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 for industrial composting.
≥500% elongation at break gives film the stretch and drop resistance of conventional PE.
Runs on standard polyolefin film lines with minor temperature adjustment.
Improves flexibility and impact strength when blended with PLA-based resins.
Sealed, dry storage holds moisture below 360 ppm out of the bag.
Manufactured to ISO 9001 quality management standards.
Meets carry-bag ban requirements across EU, North American, and Asian markets.
Stable in sealed, dry storage conditions for up to two years.
Where AB100 is used across compostable packaging and film.
Retail, grocery, and produce bags meeting plastic ban regulations.
Blown & cast films for food packaging, wrap, and lamination.
Biodegrades in-field — no removal needed after harvest.
Organic waste collection bags for domestic & commercial use.
Coating & lamination layer for compostable cups, trays, and plates.
E-commerce shipping bags for eco-conscious brands.

AB100 meets leading international compostability and biodegradability standards, for regulated markets in Europe, North America, and Asia.
BIOGREEN AVERON FILLER A100 is engineered for blending into PBAT resin at up to 70% recommended loading. It maintains compostability and processability through conventional blown film and cast film lines, enabling manufacturers to significantly reduce raw material costs without compromising performance or compliance.

| Property | Test method | Test condition | Unit | Typical value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Specific gravity | ISO 1183 | 23°C | g / cm³ | 1.8 – 2.2 |
